This certainly not to the standards of Hublot!
Although it should not happen, failures can happen everywhere. Afterall we are human.
How about your other 6 Hublots?
I only can suggest get in touch with Hublot CEO Jean Claude Biver! He is very approachable, and will solve issues, if they are issues left.
Regarding tracking system etc. : Bear in mind that Hublot is still "young" in watch terms, and they sell around 10-times less watches than Rolex! Hublot has invested massiv amounts in watch develpment and local production. Rolex has the advantage of time here as well. Rolex has a perfect watch product - but do I want it?
I have various watches from different brands as Girard Perregaux, Breguet, Omega, Hublot, Zenith, TAG-Heuer... So I do have the comparison of the different brands and customer services.
In my opinion, it is important, that they solve the issue with the watch to your full satisfaction. Full stop.
The tracking system is "nice" - but not of major relevance (my opinion).
THE WATCH ITSELF IS STUNNING and not at all comparable to Rolex or others! Its unique! I hope you will be able to enjoy it again, when its back! I think you - and the watch - deserves it!
PS: AP (I goes you are after the RO Offshore) does have an inhouse calibre too, but not as a Chronograph. Here the use a module calibre, which I do not like. Not to mention the deep slot to see the date (because of this chrono module)
