My view on the Hublot Big Bang Unico
By: foversta : September 13th, 2013-14:43
The Big Bang Unico is undoubtedly the most important novelty for Hublot in 2013. Indeed, it represents better than any other watch from the collection the strategy and the upmarket move of the brand. For many years, the Big Bang proved to be the incarnati...

Very detailed observation. I have been waiting to meet it in person soon and verify what you felt! Again, thanks for a very stimulus write-up! Ken

Finally a movement befitting of the outlandish design, which I love, and the price tag .... Have to agree with the comment on the pushers. Seem "off" to my eye. Perhaps it's better to the touch. Not having seen the watch, I thought the date might be hard ...
Thanks Flamenco.

A big step for Hublot

I like it very much, the movement is very nice, also the case and many details. But the round pushers do not match in my opinion.
Thanks Tempus for your comments.

These pushers have a good point: they create discussions about them! They are inspired by pistons motor engine... but we didn't find them on the watch dedicated to Ferrari. Anyway, the Big Bang Unico remains a very good watch... Thanks! Fx
Thanks a lot...

...for your review. The Unico BB is in my eyes one of the highlights of this years Baselworld. Personally I've no problem with the round pushers. My favourite version is steel with ceramic bezel. But at least I'm not sure if I should replace my "normal" B...
Has anybody here purchased one?...

If so, what's your opinion? Do you think you'll be getting bored of it anytime soon? Is it getting lots of wrist time? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this. Best Regards, Kenny G
I don't mind the round pushers

Generally, I don't like see through dials as they are not legible, especially for a chronograph. Bit something about this HUBLOT Big Bang Unico looks OK.....hmm....does one get sloppy about "rules" as one gets older? ;) MTF

If you look at the dial, there is no other place that you can place the date box without bumping into an hour marker or numeral. Hublot had the opportunity to place it within the subdial because of the absence of the numeral in the 3 o clock postion. Stil...
