Jon, thank you so much for your report!

I am intrigued by those Master Piece series while Diver watches are also attractive.  Lots of new offerings from Hublot.

Thank you again!

PuristSPro BaselWorld 2011 Live Reporting - Jon Z. ( Z3) Hublot Let's start with the grand complication. Two pieces (prototypes) are featured here, in collaboration with Matthia Buttet (previously of BNB Concept) This is the Master Piece #2 - the Key of T...

I was very amazed with the differents paths Hublot is taking. Lots of colors for women, lots of materials for guys. I see also that they are dropping steel in their collection to favor ceramic, titanium and gold

Is the Hublot Masterpiece #2 a remnant of the Concord Gravity?

 By: AnthonyTsai : March 30th, 2011-15:36
That's the 1st thing that popped into my head when I saw the Masterpiece #2 picture. Cheers, Anthony...

Design inspirations are very similar

 By: Z3 : March 30th, 2011-15:57
Both have the tourbillon on the side - seems like that's a BNB thing and the Masterpiece #2 screams of Matthias Buttet I personally find the complication on Masterpiece #2 to be much more fascinating (although not particularly useful). Jon

Masterpiece #1 inspired by RM design?

 By: AT : March 31st, 2011-05:17
Maybe because I saw this early in my AM before coffee but I feel that while the execution might be incredible the design in terms of size and overall shape is a piggy back on RM inspirations.

Well it was designed by BNB...

Well the Concord was designed by BNB Concepts so it would explain the vertical tourbillon now that Mathius Buttet heads up the complications department now of Hulbot they were both his ideas. I have seen both and had them on my wrist and they are totally ...

Kudos to Hublot

Something fresh, creative! I like the diver a lot. Wish they had it in the bullet bang material.

Nice report!

Hublot's really getting creative these days.

Oi vey!

Man, Hublot just throws everything at the wall, don't they? Whatever sticks... I guess! Yeaaaghh!

Masterpiece #2...perfect for Spiderman

 By: pingtsai : April 2nd, 2011-08:47
I could see it in a movie on his wrist. Masterpiece #1 is interesting. Their efforts to spead out are commendable. But I simply have to say, regarding the ladies watches, please please Hublot...rethink, redesign, restructure...re-hire, throw out your colo...

Ladie's watches

 By: jcbiver : April 2nd, 2011-12:16
You might be right? I accept many other opinions and always listen to people But I have to say that last year the Tutti Frutti collection sold more than 5'000 watches (which is only for this line 20% of our sales) All together the laddie's line counted fo...

Another friendly suggestion Mr. Biver.

Dear Mr. Biver, Thanks for your kind participation to this thread. Although I was quite impressed with this year's lineup (especially the high complication pieces), I am constantly bothered by the finishing and the design of the movement in the Big Bang.....

Thank you for your advice

Will try to follow your recommendation. Would be great if you could mention via my personal mail [Email address suppressed for privacy] which watch you own with a 7750 Please don't forget to come and visit our manufacture and decoration department when yo...

Do you know anywhere we can see the 1/4 and 4X second hand in a video?

 By: doubleup : May 3rd, 2011-15:12
Are they hacking seconds when at 1/4 speed? I assume it would look like the new Breguet chronograph at 4X speed. Thanks,

No

 By: squadra : May 4th, 2011-00:01
Only the minute and hour hands go faster. The seconds and shown by the tourbillon and are always working at the same speed
