This is a watch for the most stylish of rebels! The skull. Symbol of vanitas. A recurring theme in contemporary art and fashion. From Andy Warhol to Picasso, via Niki de Saint Phalle with her heart-nosed skull, right up to Damien Hirst and his highly colourful or diamond-set skulls... Often, skulls give us cause to reflect. The skull set in diamonds on the dial of the Classic Fusion appears almost contorted, with its slightly mocking smile.
Hublot's diamond skull series shows its rebellious streak, brilliantly thumbing its nose at those with an overly conservative outlook. This watch will be a sure-fire hit with rock-star fashionistas on the stage and in the city. Measuring 45 mm in diameter, this Hublot watch is the surprisingly perfect fusion of a modern rebellious spirit with the grand tradition of setting. Its 1168 diamonds, totalling over 5 carats, shine with a carefree and insolent glamour, lending the piece a bold, confident elegance. It is available in two versions, each limited to just 50 numbered pieces: the first is in titanium, set with white diamonds; the second is in black PVD-treated titanium set with black diamonds. Both versions feature a white gold dial. The watch is equipped with a HUB 1110 self-winding mechanical movement comprising 63 components and 21 jewels. Water resistant to 50 metres.
