HUBLOT: Do you believe in your own product?

Mar 01, 2015,03:54 AM

When we visit brand factories and boutiques, we are interested in what the personnel wear.

Usually because we ask:  Do you believe in your own product?

What do you think?  Is that a fair question?

What if you are a lowly clerk working for Richard Mille?  You could never afford even the bracelet....

I know the boutique staff wear the brand's watch (owned or rented) without exception. But at the factory, I don't see all of them wear the brand's watch. It's wonderful at Hublot's. Thanks for your astute eyes! Ken

On the first picture...

ahh...now I understand. Yes. That photo was to illustrate us, watch lovers, visiting factories. When I first chose it, I thought it said 'amateur' too, which the French use to mean 'lover of' But it was 'visiteur'. Regards, MTF

If you're CEO of course you will have to wear your watch wherever and whenever you are... But IMHO good for back office employees to be able to wear one as well?

There are limits e.g. Richard Mille vs Tissot

Rei, I think it should NOT be mandatory for employees to wear their product but they should get a staff discount if they want. Even the highest discount like at cost price of expensive brands like Richard Mille would be out of reach of workers, even highl...

Haha agree on the tractor & RM examples.

And yes most people only have 1-2 expensive watches unlike some 'crazy rich' WIS (in a good way :p) here who may have a complete set of high end luxury watches equal to a few big houses for many to live in (ironic but that's the fact, isn't it?) But I see...

Love this pic!
