London, Hublot “on show” at Harrods - The Brompton Road windows

Hublot is delighted to announce a pop-up store and unique exhibition that will be in the main windows of Harrods for the month of August 2014.

The displays in each of the four windows give Hublot the opportunity to communicate the brand spirit and know-how, alongside the strategic partnerships, including Ferrari and FIFA World Cup™. Hublot also presents a collection of iconic watches through a series of themed windows.

Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO, Hublot. says “ We are the brand where Tradition meets the Future. That's what we call the Fusion in Watchmaking Art. Innovation is part of our DNA. We feel that the link to Harrods is on the same level as creating a first in watchmaking. We share a passion for design, creativity and craftsmanship.”

For the occasion, a Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 car is also displayed to show Hublot’s association as Ferrari’s “Official Watch” and « Official Timekeeper ». The Big Bang Ferrari UK Limited Edition will be displayed in the front window at Harrods for the first time. The entire piece has been conceived to reflect Hublot with Ferrari's pure DNA: sport, performance and technology.

The “Hublot Loves Football” window features Limited Edition pieces that were created with Hublot Ambassadors from the world of football including, Pelé, Roy Hodgson and José Mourinho. As FIFA World Cup’s “Official Timekeeper”, Hublot will also be showing the Big Bang FIFA World Cup™ Official Watch with a bi-retrograde display (the hands return to their starting points at lightning speed). It is one of the only movements of its type in the watchmaking industry today, especially developed for football fans. It has already earned the name "Soccer Bang".

The UNICO window shows the collection of timepieces that house the UNICO Manufacture calibre – the brand's signature chronograph movement, unique in the industry with the position of its mechanism with a horizontal double clutch and the famous "column wheel" visible on the dial side. Its development required a completely original approach and thinking outside the box.

Finally, the Pop-Art window gives Hublot the chance to show off its ultra-feminine series. Pink, blue, purple, apple green: an explosion of colours, all 100% Pop Art reinterpretations inspired by the famous Art movement. Seriously vibrant. This innovative collection is a delight to the eye and a must see part of the exhibition.

The Hublot collection including a selection of “Limited Editions” is displayed throughout the month of August 2014.
