Hublot Launches New York Exclusive LE King Power 692 Bang

LIMITED EDITION KING POWER 692 BANG
July 2014 (New York, NY) - Luxury Swiss watch brand Hublot launches the limited edition King Power 692 Bang, a piece exclusive to the brand’s 692 Madison Avenue flagship boutique in New York City. Limited to 26 pieces, the King Power 692 Bang is available in black ceramic and includes interchangeable yellow and black straps, inspired by the colors of the iconic NYC Taxi Cab. Its case-back is adorned with a sketch of the Madison Avenue boutique façade, a building designed by famed architect Peter Marino and inspired by the grand luxury townhouses of New York’s historic Upper East Side neighborhood.

The Madison Avenue boutique, opened in 2011, is Hublot’s flagship in America, and we are excited to honor our history with this great city. Inspired by the yellow NYC Taxi, a city icon, this timepiece allows our customer to celebrate Hublot with New York pride.”
With a diameter of 48mm and a sophisticated yet sporty design, the counters, hands and minute track are in the same yellow as the stitching on the black rubber and hornback crocodile strap, a color which underscores the unique character of the King Power 692 Bang – a color representative of the yellow taxi cabs that line the streets of Manhattan.
Hublot celebrated this unique launch with an intimate cocktail event at the 692 Madison Avenue boutique on Wednesday, July 16. Guests perused the new pieces while enjoying Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Champagne, seasonal hors d’oeuvres, and music from local New York DJs Sabrina Burda and Natalie Doge.

I like it. The use by Hublot of yellow in a few recent pieces (LaFerrari in mind) really works well and this is a really stunning piece. Shame they did not put the Unico in it though. Cheers Andrew

Wow! This is another nice LE. But just thinking, what a nice set to have two different straps for different look. But does it comes with a tool to remove the strap? If not then it's kinda hard to swap the straps? Same dilemma am on now. Have four differen...
Unfortunately, you would have to need the tool...
... and it should be fairly easy... but you may want to bring it in to the AD or Boutique if you are not sure.... I wish it had Unico as well as the one button push strap change system..... But great eye catching color combo! Ken

Hublot stopped handing out screwdrivers a few years ago after scratched watches and broken screws appeared... It is not mentioned in the press release so doubt it comes with the screwdriver, so sorry yes its back to the AD or boutique to change it :( Chee...
Nice combo but would have been much better if they had put Unico
instead of the regular mov't. This watch also reminds me of Usain Bolt's edition :)
