They seem to be reducing spend on movement R&Ds and focusing on facelifts across their brands and jacking up the price to boot. Seiko: Not really a flaw

But the inward angle of 9R02 (even though it is only 1) is a clear upgrade. Also believe the other extra (though not as important is the power reserve increase to 84 hours. If 9R02 is in Eichi III, would be seriously tempted to find funds for one.

Seiko: Front of all Eichi versions looks perfect...

Just wish that the movement is 'upgraded' to 9R02 finishing. Eichi II is 10 years old this August, hopefully Eichi III is around the corner sooner than later.
